Next in the line of capital space ships I'm working on. Next step is texturing like I did in previous deviation (materials lol) and space scene setup. If you have any suggestions according to design please tell.

Thanks. :)

This was the pic that led me to you. I'm storing a massive collection of spacecraft for personal artistic references for some stuff I'm making later, and of the 200 designs so far, this is the most unique, at least in top 3. Inspiration bombarded me like a broadside of 50 cannons.

The only suggestion I can give is color/story based. You know when certain animals [of the sea] are threatened, their colors change something vibrant? I was thinking in "battle mode" or something, the lines in the craft (if that's what it is) could change from subtle black/gray/purple/etc. to bright glowing blue or red against a sleek color, something dark (maybe not black). I dunno, your the artist, I just thought that would be cool.

Another idea, if its biomechanical in any sense, is a squid-like seeking missile bursting into acid when in contact/general area of the target.

Whoa! beautiful words my friend. Very good suggestions, there will be more aquatic looked space crafts and I will surely use some of it.

I'm an author who longs for artistic skills. If I were in the video game department, I'd write the story, develop the characters, and do much of the research, other guys (like you) would draw the art for the concepts. Others would narrow it down and make the gameplay out of it.

This ship appears very vulnerable from the top from frigate, light cruiser, or fighter attack (stuff that is fast and is more looking to avoid getting hit by turrets than punching through shields). That is unless it is one of those so it has the ability to roll and maneuver itself swiftly.
I absolutely would not approach this ship from below or the sides.

What is the purpose of the red globes? The starfighter pilot / light cap ship commander in me says shoot those first. Typically I like to see the bridge buried deep within the ship and the sensors on the surface redundant and distributed.

You are right about red globes. I tried to make some octopus race space ship here so I've created those big red eyes windows. Idea with weapons are similar to the anatomy of the octopi (at least I tried to make it so).
